About the role#
The Global Finance Internship Program at Assurant is a 12-week experience. It provides hands-on exposure to areas including Accounting, Business Finance, Tax, Investments, Internal Audit, and Actuarial. You will contribute to business initiatives and develop professional skills through mentorship. The program concludes with a capstone presentation to leadership. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in month-end financial close tasks and audit preparation.
- Analyze structured data and develop insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in building dashboards, financial models, and KPI reports.
- Present project outcomes and learnings during a final capstone.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or Actuarial Science/Mathematics.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Basic Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and interpret structured data.
