About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Bloomington, Illinois. You will work under the direction of the Health and Welfare Analyst to support the Benefits department. The role focuses on communication and project support, giving you the chance to explore career paths within the agricultural industry.
What you'll do#
- Create marketing materials for workplace wellness campaigns.
- Write and distribute information regarding employee benefits and events.
- Conduct research to assist department staff with ongoing projects.
- Facilitate an employee education session.
- Produce presentations, direct mailers, and program introduction materials for GROWMARK and its subsidiaries.
- Participate in all internship program meetings, including orientation and conclusion events.
- Complete and present a final summer internship project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently, including occasional overnight trips.
- Ability to work for at least 12 weeks starting by May 24, 2027.
