About the role#
This is a paid, full-time HR internship based in Guelph, Ontario. The role runs for the winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, Inc.
What you'll do#
- Post seasonal job openings on our career site and various college or university job boards.
- Review incoming resumes to complete initial screenings.
- Reach out to local high schools to build awareness of agricultural career paths.
- Coordinate career days and collaborate with guidance counsellors.
- Organize and attend job fairs.
- Assist with the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and solve problems effectively.
- Comfort speaking to individuals and small groups.
