About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides exposure to corporate human resources at New York Life. You will gain insight into how our business functions while participating in learning, development, and networking opportunities. The program runs from June 1, 2027, to August 5, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support projects within Talent Acquisition, including recruitment and candidate experience initiatives.
- Contribute to employer branding by creating content and developing social media strategies.
- Partner on programs related to employee engagement, performance, and professional development.
- Support inclusion initiatives by working with Employee Resource Groups and internal programming.
- Gain direct exposure to HR strategy and daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited 4-year university with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology.
- Demonstrated leadership or significant contributions in campus or community activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with others.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Locations: New York, NY; White Plains, NY; or Jersey City, NJ.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in office).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
