About the role#
As an Internal Audit Technology Intern, you will conduct routine information system application auditing assignments. You will work under direct supervision to support the Internal Audit department in Dallas. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the documentation and testing of ITGCs for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Help the team conduct routine IT and operational technology risk-based audits.
- Review internal controls across company operations.
- Maintain documentation of ITGCs, including matrices and narratives.
- Perform special assignments as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in business information systems, management information systems, computer science, internal audit, accounting, or finance.
- A basic ability to perform routine audit tasks and risk analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- An entry-level understanding of IT concepts such as change management, logical security controls, and role-based permissions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to perform basic math.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 20% travel by land and air is required, including visits to refineries and warehouse environments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 20 lbs. You may need to climb up to 40 feet and wear personal protective equipment.
