About the role#
This internship is a full-time position located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. You will join the Engineering team during the winter 2027 term, which runs from January through June. You will work up to 40 hours per week, primarily during standard business hours, though project needs may occasionally require early mornings, late nights, or weekend work.
What you'll do#
- Perform time and motion studies within the Textiles operation to develop labor standards.
- Analyze data to identify trends, commonalities, and opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with team members to turn ideas into solutions.
- Guide the collection, analysis, and visualization of Textiles data and present findings to various audiences.
- Support quality initiatives by setting up data collection studies, including determining sample sizes and creating reporting forms.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or post-graduate degree program in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau or Grafana.
- Experience with statistical analysis using SQL.
- Knowledge of work measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with quality analysis methods like Fishbone diagrams, RCCA, and 5Why’s.

- Compensation: $31 per hour for undergraduate students and $36 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: You must have unrestricted work authorization and provide your own reliable transportation.
