About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the ESPN Programming department. You will help shape how fans experience sports across television, digital, and streaming platforms. The role runs from January through May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of sporting events across college, professional, and digital media categories.
- Conduct ratings research for linear and digital networks.
- Create presentations to support programming initiatives.
- Work with other ESPN departments to coordinate scheduling strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- A solid understanding of ESPN products, platforms, and services.
- Strong knowledge of professional and collegiate sports leagues.
- Prior experience in a professional business or office setting.
- Foundational experience in television programming or production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with contract administration and cross-platform media.
- An interest in pop culture and emerging trends.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to work well with others.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bristol, Connecticut.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- You are responsible for your own housing and transportation.
