About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn facility operations and team management. The program focuses on real-world application of skills in store, fuel, food, and truck care departments.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Practice team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and department leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Comfort interacting with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Ability to talk, hear, move around, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Location: Baird, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check or a DOT physical.
