About the role#
This 11-week internship provides experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program focuses on real-world application of skills in store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Develop business acumen by learning how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to talk, hear, move around, and see clearly to perform job duties.
- Comfort interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
