About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing travel centers, including food service and truck care operations. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn facility management, team leadership, and customer service. The program is designed to help you build business skills and prepare for a career in retail operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn how to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Develop skills in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Gain experience in delivering customer service and resolving issues.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with other interns and leadership.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to navigate computer programs, systems, and technology tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Clear communication skills when interacting with customers and team members.

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
