About the role#
This internship provides professional development and practical experience within the operating areas of The Walt Disney Company. You will provide analytic and consulting support to various lines of business, including Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. You will work alongside other Industrial Engineers and interact with cast members and management across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects.
- Provide operational planning support, including workload planning, forecasting, and capacity utilization.
- Perform efficiency and process improvements.
- Apply appropriate methodology, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques such as data collection, simulation, statistics, and process flow analysis.
- Lead and participate in team efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program at an accredited college or university.
- Intended graduation date on or after December 2027.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcript submission is required).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A willingness to learn new software applications.
- Prior work experience with a focus on problem-solving.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Unrestricted work authorization.
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
- Compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Buena Vista, FL.
- Term options: Summer 2027 or Fall 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Schedule: Consistent, reliable 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and reliable transportation to and from work and across the Walt Disney World property.
