About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within our operations planning and insights team at the Disneyland Resort. You will gain practical knowledge of various operating areas, including attractions, merchandise, and entertainment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Anaheim, California, running from August 2027 through December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead and participate in team projects that require collaboration with cast members and management at all levels.
- Conduct industrial engineering analysis, focusing on operational planning, workload forecasting, and capacity utilization.
- Identify and implement process improvements using data collection, statistics, computer simulation, and process flow analysis.
- Apply established industrial engineering methodologies and quantitative tools to support business goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering degree program at an accredited university.
- An intended graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions analytically.
- A willingness to learn new software applications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- Ability to maintain a consistent, reliable work schedule, including full availability Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends.
- Compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $32.00 per hour.
- You must provide your own housing and reliable transportation to and from work, as well as across the Disneyland property.
- Candidates must not have completed one year of continual employment on a previous Disney internship or college program.
