About the role#
The Worldwide Safety Assurance team ensures that Disneyland Resort attractions meet all standards and regulations. This internship involves supporting special projects that may be implemented at the Disneyland Resort or other domestic and international parks. You will provide data and support to various teams across a range of project types.
What you'll do#
- Assist Quality Engineers with special projects focused on predicted safety for attractions and entertainment offerings.
- Lead meetings on sub-topics to help reach project goals.
- Conduct field work within attractions to gather research.
- Review and assess the alignment of key documentation used by Maintenance, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams.
- Help develop processes and procedures related to compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or Data Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work various shifts as required by project needs.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Anaheim, California.
- The term runs from January through June 2027.
- Interns must be fully available for the duration of the program, working 40 hours per week.
- You must provide your own housing and transportation.
- Undergraduate pay is $30.00 per hour, and graduate student pay is $35.00 per hour.
