About the role#
This internship within the Facilities Shared Services Division at the Disneyland Resort offers field experience in manufacturing. You will support engineers, service managers, and trade teams on projects that provide utility and facility support to attractions, food service, merchandise, and entertainment operations. The program runs from January to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers and managers with routine maintenance and project work.
- Collect and verify field data.
- Draft on-site as-built documentation.
- Support projects ranging from minor rehabs to new facility construction.
- Review specialty parts and propose new technologies to improve production efficiency.
- Develop proposals for capital funding allocation for manufacturing parts.
- Create presentations and diagrams for facility improvements, including storage and manufacturing workflow.
- Tackle complex tasks related to material availability and part manufacturing with supervision.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.
- Ability to work both desk and field assignments.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be at least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour for undergraduates or $35.00 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and transportation. You must maintain a consistent, reliable schedule and follow appearance guidelines.
