About the role#
This internship provides administrative and logistical support for Disney Live Entertainment. You will assist with the planning, marketing, and execution of auditions and external engagements. The role focuses on improving talent acquisition strategies and the candidate experience for performers.
What you'll do#
- Support the execution of auditions for character performers, dancers, singers, and actors.
- Collaborate with Casting Marketing to promote audition opportunities through social media.
- Evaluate online submissions and provide recommendations to Casting Directors for callbacks.
- Contribute to the production of virtual workshops and learning sessions.
- Apply creative sourcing methods to build talent pipelines and research new markets to attract candidates for specific roles.
- Suggest improvements to the audition process and candidate experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Musical Theater, Arts, Entertainment or Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related major.
- Experience in entertainment, such as vocal, dance, or musical theater.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle confidential information.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Capability to learn new software applications.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of performer contracts, the live performer experience, or experience with tools like Smartsheet or Airtable is a plus.
- Former Disney experience is preferred.

- Location: Kissimmee, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time and paid at $22.00 per hour.
- Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, possess unrestricted work authorization, hold a valid US driver's license, and have the ability to operate a company vehicle. You must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines and maintain a consistent, reliable work schedule for the full duration of the internship.
