About the role#
Join our Store Planning team to help shape the financial and strategic direction of our merchandise locations. This full-time internship provides hands-on experience in merchandise financials, demand forecasting, and retail strategy. You will work within our retail environment to optimize product flow and drive revenue through data-driven decisions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business performance using financial reports, KPIs, and trend data.
- Forecast inventory needs and establish presentation quantities for seasonal events and product launches.
- Develop merchandise strategies in partnership with Planning and Strategy teams.
- Create product flow calendars and floor plans in collaboration with Visual Presentation.
- Recommend replenishment and backfill strategies to maintain inventory levels.
- Communicate with Operations teams to support the execution of merchandise plans.
What you'll need#
- 1+ years of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, or business development.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of merchandise planning, financials, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, with Junior or Senior year preferred.
- Coursework in Business, Finance, Retail, Merchandise, Math, or a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- Alignment with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Eligibility to participate in a Disney Internship program.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 through June 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This position is paid at $23.00 per hour.
