About the role#
Swank Motion Pictures is looking for a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience in HR operations through a formalized internship structure. You will work alongside our HR team with guidance from a manager and a mentor.
What you'll do#
- Support recruitment by sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Assist the HR team with projects related to performance management, employee engagement, and policy development.
- Maintain and update HR documentation and records.
- Research HR best practices.
- Handle general administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Preference for students with Junior status and an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for the full duration of the summer program.
Location & details#
- This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
- The position is full-time and paid.
- We operate on a hybrid schedule. You will work on-site Monday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
