About the role#
Stewart Talent Los Angeles offers an internship program for students to learn about the entertainment industry within a talent agency. This position requires a minimum 4-month commitment of 12 to 20 hours per week. School credit is required for this role. Interns gain hands-on experience in agency operations, including the process of talent representation from initial casting breakdowns to final project bookings.
What you'll do#
- Edit self-tapes and client reels.
- Email daily casting notices.
- Generate client submission pitches.
- Update internal databases and maintain files.
- Complete character-based script coverage.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as calendar upkeep.
- Learn to use industry-standard software including Breakdown Services, InEntertainment, and IMDBPro.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, specifically in Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Psychology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Basic computer skills and a desire to learn.
- For remote work, access to a computer, high-speed internet, and video editing software.
- For in-person work, reliable transportation to the Mid-Wilshire/Miracle Mile area in Los Angeles.

- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-person options available Tuesday through Thursday; remote options available Monday and Friday).
- Schedule: 9:00am to 7:00pm Pacific Time.
- Compensation: Unpaid (school credit required).
