About the role#
Five Iron Golf is looking for a Talent Acquisition & Social Recruiting Intern to join our team. This part-time, paid role offers hands-on experience across the recruiting lifecycle within a growing national brand. You will work remotely to help identify and engage the people who bring our venues to life. This is an opportunity for those interested in Talent Acquisition, recruiting, or Human Resources to gain practical experience while receiving mentorship from our recruiting team.
What you'll do#
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and other channels.
- Build talent pipelines for roles including servers, bartenders, line cooks, event staff, and venue leadership.
- Research local hospitality talent markets, schools, training programs, and professional groups.
- Review resumes and applications to flag potential candidates for recruiter review.
- Schedule interviews and manage communication between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Post, update, and audit job listings to keep descriptions current.
- Maintain accurate candidate information in our ATS and recruiting trackers.
- Support the candidate experience by answering questions and sending status updates.
- Collaborate on projects to improve our hiring process, such as building interview guides, templates, or recruiting reports.
What you'll need#
- Interest in Talent Acquisition, recruiting, or Human Resources.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, events, entertainment, catering, retail, or other customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new technology and working with spreadsheets and recruiting systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful, curious, and comfortable connecting with people.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote, part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week.
- Applicants must reside and work in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, or Georgia.
- The schedule is set collaboratively based on your availability and business needs.
