About the role#
This is a full-time Finance Business Partner Co-Op/Intern position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced finance and commercial partners to apply business and finance concepts to real-world planning, analysis, and reporting. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to Global Bioscience financial planning and Commercial SG&A spends while gaining experience in a professional corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Support financial planning and analysis for Global Bioscience and Commercial SG&A.
- Assist with forecasting processes, including five-year planning preparations and monthly or quarterly closing responsibilities.
- Perform data and cost analysis, reporting development, and data management tasks.
- Communicate with various levels of the organization, including management, commercial sales teams, and R&D professionals.
- Participate in department meetings and project-specific assignments.
- Complete special projects as assigned by offsite Finance Business Partners.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with sophomore standing or higher by May 2027.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- 1-2 years of experience volunteering or working with student or school organizations.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Ability to work full-time while maintaining student status.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Please note that selected candidates must successfully complete a background check, drug and alcohol screening, physical, and functional capacity examination.
Location & details#
- Location: Durham, North Carolina.
- Term: May 10, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week on-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically 36-40 hours per week.
