About the role#
The Mosaic Mining the Future program provides Indigenous students with hands-on experience in the mining industry. This paid internship is open to full-time post-secondary students for the Winter 2027 term. Participants will be integrated into various departments to support operations and gain professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Support site operations as a student engineer or geologist.
- Assist with compliance and field data collection as an Environmental or Lab Technician.
- Help with recruitment and employee engagement as HR or Talent Support.
- Support office operations as an Administrative Assistant.
- Manage timelines and resources as a Project Coordinator.
- Maintain a clean work environment and comply with all safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Of Métis, First Nation, or Inuit ancestry (a status or Métis citizenship card is required).
- Must be a full-time post-secondary student in the semester prior to the work term.
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the term.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from work.
- Ability to effectively work with others.
- Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including criminal, drug, and alcohol testing.
