About the role#
The Mosaic Mining the Future program offers summer internships for Indigenous students across various departments. This program provides hands-on experience in the mining industry, allowing students to contribute to operations while developing professional skills. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
Depending on your background and placement, you will support one of the following functional areas:
- Student Engineer: Work on site operations, including process, maintenance, mining, reliability, or geology.
- Environmental/Lab Technician: Assist with compliance tasks and field data collection.
- HR or Talent Support: Help with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Administrative Assistant: Support office operations, scheduling, and communications.
- Project Coordinator: Manage project timelines, resources, and team collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Of Métis, First Nation, or Inuit ancestry (status or citizenship card required).
- Current enrollment as a full-time post-secondary student in the semester prior to the work term.
- Ability to work full-time during the selected work term.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Majors in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, Logistics, or Agriculture.
