About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist intern for a 10-week summer program. This role offers exposure to various HR functions and provides opportunities to contribute to projects that support our business goals. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical experience in an insurance environment.
What you'll do#
- Support HR Centers of Excellence, including compensation, talent acquisition, and benefits.
- Work on strategies to improve the employee experience.
- Complete analytical and problem-solving projects.
- Gain foundational knowledge of HR Shared Services.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation for management regarding your summer accomplishments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Human Resources or Business Administration.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

- The role is located on-site in Worcester, Massachusetts.
