About the role#
LPL Financial is seeking a Transition Support Partner intern for the summer of 2027. This 10-week, full-time program offers exposure to the financial services industry. You will work with the Investment Transition Partner team to help reduce onboarding time and support client experiences. This role is a hybrid position, requiring 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
What you'll do#
- Support Investment Mapping and Advisory platforms.
- Contribute to project workstreams by scoping problems and conducting research.
- Create presentations to support team objectives.
- Assist with onboarding and transition-related activities.
- Analyze data to help advisors focus on their business operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to use formulas and VLOOKUP functions in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be local to the Fort Mill, South Carolina, Charlotte, North Carolina, or San Diego, California areas.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week in office).
- Compensation: Paid internship at $25 per hour.
