About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work on business assignments during a 10-week summer program. You will work alongside experienced professionals, participate in a cross-functional team project, and attend weekly development workshops. We recruit students for this role with the potential for future full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning algorithms and statistical models for business use.
- Build models for projections, clustering, classification, pattern analysis, sampling, and simulations.
- Research methods for predicting and modeling end-user behavior.
- Investigate data visualization and summarization techniques to share analytics findings.
- Perform data mining tasks on large data sets.
- Create reports and presentations for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Engineering.
- Technical proficiency in SQL and modeling.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week program.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Initiative, creativity, and analytical skills.
- Ability to think critically and develop solutions.
