About the role#
This internship offers college students the chance to apply academic knowledge to real business assignments. You will work on practical projects, receive mentorship from subject matter experts, and participate in development workshops. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program designed to provide hands-on experience in data engineering.
What you'll do#
- Learn to locate, access, and manipulate data to create reports or data sets.
- Focus on the practical application of data collection and analysis.
- Perform data profiling, report generation, and relational data modeling.
- Build and implement new data pipelines and models.
- Document the design and development of your solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Technical proficiency in SQL and ETL tools like Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week program.
- Capability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to develop solutions independently.
