About the role#
The Labor Systems team builds applications to manage workload, scheduling, time, and deployment for Disney operations. As an intern, you will support the sustainment of existing systems, tools, databases, and reporting solutions. You will also contribute to capital and local projects that are currently in progress. Work assignments depend on your individual strengths and your interest in learning new technologies and concepts.
What you'll do#
- Support the maintenance of existing labor systems and databases.
- Work on active capital and local projects.
- Engage in tasks ranging from database design to backend server management.
- Participate in the design of dashboards and data visualizations.
What you'll need#
- Experience with front end web development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or SQL.
- A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to solve problems independently.
- A track record of working collaboratively with leaders at various levels.
- Junior or Senior standing in a degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A technical portfolio, such as a GitHub profile, included on your resume.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $31.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, possess unrestricted work authorization, and be enrolled in an accredited college or university. You are responsible for your own housing and transportation.
