About the role#
The IT Quality Assurance Intern will support our team in testing software applications and technology solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with quality processes, test execution, and defect tracking. You will work alongside QA Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure our products meet business requirements.
What you'll do#
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test data for software applications.
- Perform manual testing of web-based and internal business applications.
- Document and report software defects, issues, and test results using tools like Jira.
- Participate in Functional, User Acceptance (UAT), and Regression testing.
- Learn and apply software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve software issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
- Familiarity with web applications, databases, or programming concepts is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
