About the role#
The Quality Data Intern supports the Quality team with data analysis, dashboard maintenance, and project coordination. You will gain exposure to manufacturing quality systems, business intelligence reporting, and cross-functional project management. This role involves maintaining existing reporting tools and assisting with day-to-day operational activities within the Quality organization.
What you'll do#
- Extract and report data from existing Power BI dashboards.
- Assist internal departments with routine and ad-hoc data requests.
- Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly KPI reports.
- Maintain dashboard documentation, KPI definitions, and user guides.
- Track project action items, due dates, and ownership.
- Follow up with stakeholders on project deliverables and meeting minutes.
- Assist in preparing management presentations and reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookup functions.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- This is an on-site position located in Mesquite, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The term is rolling.
