About the role#
This is a full-time, paid 4-month co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at RBC Waterpark Place in Toronto. This role focuses on the development and application of artificial intelligence solutions within a banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Research and document emerging AI trends and techniques to propose practical adoption.
- Develop and pilot AI models and prototype applications to address business needs.
- Analyze business problems and select the right AI technologies to solve them.
- Perform code reviews and optimize algorithms to ensure high performance.
- Conduct experiments to validate the functionality of AI solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence technologies and Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of Big Data analytics and software engineering principles.
- Experience with software product design.
- Strong critical thinking and group problem-solving skills.

- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
