About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Financial Analyst intern for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, 10-week on-site position based in Worcester, Massachusetts. You will work on business assignments, participate in development workshops, and engage in team projects focused on corporate philanthropy.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly and quarterly book close processes.
- Help prepare for earnings calls, annual operating plans, and business review deliverables.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities.
- Use AI tools for data manipulation, analysis, and decision-making.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation for management at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Word.
- Between 0 and 2 years of professional work experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
