About the role#
WhiteWater is hiring a Trading Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Austin, Texas. We do not offer housing or visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
You will support our gas scheduling and settlements teams. Your work involves:
- Generating and maintaining records for natural gas exchanges.
- Nominating gas receipts and deliveries on interstate pipeline electronic bulletin boards.
- Communicating with third parties to keep gas flowing without disruptions.
- Creating, distributing, and reconciling invoices for physical and financial transactions.
- Working with counterparties to resolve discrepancies in invoice reconciliation.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a graduation date in May 2028.
- You are studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Operations Management.
- You have strong analytical, critical, and economical thinking skills.
- You are proficient with MS Office, specifically with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- You can handle multiple tasks at once and pay close attention to detail.
