About the role#
The Enrollment Counselor helps prospective students navigate the application process and provides guidance on program inquiries. You will also support enrolled students who are waiting for their Mentor assignments. This is a paid, part-time student-employee role.
What you'll do#
- Guide prospective students through the application process.
- Respond to inquiries about program details and admissions.
- Provide personalized support to students awaiting Mentor assignments.
- Document all student interactions.
- Use the internal Knowledge Base to provide accurate information.
- Handle complex situations involving domestic students.
- Collaborate with leaders to improve the enrollment process.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or current enrollment in PathwayConnect.
- Current enrollment as a CES student at BYU-Pathway Worldwide, Ensign College, BYU-Idaho, Brigham Young University, or BYU-Hawaii.
- Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to empathize with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency with software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Location & details#
- This position is remote, but you must reside in Utah or Idaho.
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- The schedule is 20 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, between 7:00am and 8:00pm MST.
