About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within one of the largest information technology centers in the Wasatch front. You will join a web application development team to build and refine websites and user interfaces. Your work will support various Church departments, including temple, family history, missionary, and HR operations. You will receive mentorship from senior engineers to help you grow your technical skills while contributing to projects that impact the global mission of the Church.
What you'll do#
- Build and refine web sites and user interfaces for a range of applications.
- Develop, test, debug, and support web applications.
- Collaborate with a web application development team.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to write and review code and explore systems.
- Apply your college learnings to gain real-world experience.
What you'll need#
- You are a current temple-worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- You are currently enrolled or within one year of graduation from an accredited college or university.
- You are pursuing a degree in web design, computer science, or information systems.
- You have experience in front-end web development, including JavaScript, HTML5, TypeScript, Node, and CSS3.
- You are able to demonstrate coding skills within the browser during the interview.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Positions are available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
- Work can be performed remotely, on-site, or in a hybrid capacity based on team assignment.
- Office locations are in Riverton, Utah, and Lehi, Utah.
