About the role#
This internship focuses on planning and creating content for digital channels aimed at youth, such as the For the Strength of Youth and Strive to Be accounts. You will help youth share their stories and produce content that is both inspiring and engaging. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running for four months at 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content plan.
- Film youth and conduct on-location shoots.
- Create short-form vertical videos and reels for social media.
- Collaborate with a creative team to design and publish digital content.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or graduation within the last year.
- A major in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least one year of video editing experience.
- A sound understanding of Church doctrine and a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Status as a member of the Church worthy of a temple recommend.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professionalism and the ability to work well with a variety of people.
Location & details#
This position is based at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. While the role is primarily on-site, there may be opportunities for remote work depending on arrangements made at the time of hire. Medical benefits are included for this four-month internship.
