About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will support our HR team with daily administration and ongoing projects. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including recruiting, training, onboarding, and data management. You will help maintain programs and processes that support our employees.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily HR administration and project support.
- Help update HR policies and procedure documents.
- Support annual compensation processes and HR initiatives.
- Manage pre-employment tasks and new hire onboarding.
- Create learning materials and courses for training and development.
- Perform data entry and maintenance in systems like ADP and PRISM.
- Organize, digitize, and audit employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with benefits communications and open enrollment planning.
- Write and revise job descriptions and advertisements.
- Support recruiting efforts, including career fairs and university outreach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with office software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational habits.
- Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with high ethics.
- Enthusiasm for employee engagement and Human Resources.
- Ability to deliver presentations to small groups.
- Basic knowledge of employment law principles.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
