About the role#
This is a paid, part-time internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through April. You will work 20 hours a week at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. This role focuses on creating digital content that reaches youth audiences through social media and video platforms.
What you'll do#
- Plan and design visuals for the For the Strength of Youth Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as the Strive to Be YouTube channel.
- Develop concepts for the branding of various youth-focused digital channels.
- Create a variety of assets including album covers, video thumbnails, banners, and social media graphics.
- Perform layout design and image editing tasks.
- Maintain visual consistency across all projects.
- Research and apply design trends relevant to the 11-18 age demographic.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, or graduation within the last year.
- A background in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design is preferred.
- At least one year of college-level graphic design experience.
- A sound understanding of Church doctrine and a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professionalism and the ability to work well with different teams.
- Membership in the Church and worthiness to hold a temple recommend.
