About the role#
The Data Analytics Co-op joins our Corporate Quality team to apply academic knowledge to real-world business and manufacturing challenges. You will support the full lifecycle of data, from collection and validation to modeling, interpretation, and presentation. This role involves working with datasets across the organization to uncover insights that support our quality and brewery operations.
What you'll do#
- Collect and extract data from business, quality, manufacturing, and operational sources.
- Review datasets for completeness, accuracy, and reliability while identifying anomalies.
- Prepare, clean, and structure data for analytical use using SQL and other tools.
- Apply statistical methods such as regression modeling, decision trees, or clustering to operational challenges.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Document validation methods, assumptions, and corrections.
- Develop reports, data visualizations, and presentations to share findings with cross-functional partners.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear insights for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate findings and clarify analytical requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current third- or fourth-year undergraduate student status.
- Enrollment in a degree program such as data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, computer science, or engineering.
- Experience using SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated curiosity when interpreting data and adapting analytical direction.
- Preferred experience includes using R or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Interest in quality systems, manufacturing, operations, or consumer packaged goods is a plus.
- Must remain enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- The program runs from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- The role is strictly on-site at either our Cincinnati, Ohio, or Breinigsville, Pennsylvania, brewery locations.
