About the role#
The Encore Program is a paid, 12-week internship designed for experienced professionals who have taken a career break of at least 2 years. This role offers a bridge to relaunch your career through hands-on contributions, mentorship, and coaching. High-performing participants will be considered for full-time employment upon completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Gather customer and system connectivity requirements to build resilient network solutions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project delivery.
- Maintain network documentation and plans for factory, datacenter, and office infrastructure.
- Support and troubleshoot network faults during break/fix activities.
- Review network capacity, usage, and health metrics to plan for upgrades or performance adjustments.
- Collaborate with IT groups to align technology roadmaps with business needs.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- At least 3 years of work experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks.
- A career break of at least 2 years.
- Experience with Cisco LAN and WAN, Arista LAN and WAN, and Aruba Wireless.
- Understanding of routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
- Ability to work on-site and provide after-hours or weekend support when necessary.
- No sponsorship required for employment.
