About the role#
The Encore Program is a 12-week paid internship designed for experienced professionals who have taken a career break of at least 2 years. This role is intended to help you sharpen your capabilities and relaunch your career with the intent to transition into a full-time position at Texas Instruments. You will act as a contributor from your first day, solving real problems and collaborating with international teams.
What you'll do#
- Manage your own portfolio of legal matters and apply business judgment to advise on evolving business models.
- Create reusable contract structures and legal frameworks to improve speed and consistency.
- Leverage technology, including automation and AI, to modernize legal operations.
- Collaborate with a diverse international team of lawyers and business managers.
- Contribute to building and maintaining legal data, playbooks, and knowledge assets.
What you'll need#
- A career break of at least 2 years.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing transactional work at a top law firm or corporate law department.
- Must be, or be eligible to become, licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
- Strong advocacy, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- An intent to return to a full-time role at Texas Instruments after the program.
