    About the role#

    As a Field Applications Engineering Intern, you will work to bridge the gap between technical design and customer needs. This role focuses on developing your expertise in product selection, system implementation, and debugging. You will learn how functional product characteristics relate to system-level requirements while preparing for a career as a Field Applications Engineer.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify potential projects by using sales tools and building relationships with design engineering teams.
    • Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions.
    • Use technical expertise to influence the customer part selection process.
    • Demonstrate technical competency in product selection, systems, implementation, and debug.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • A basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
    • Knowledge of analog circuitry, including op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, and sensing.
    • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering, and debugging.
    • Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView is recommended).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and presentation abilities for working in cross-functional teams.
