About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of semiconductor manufacturing facilities. You will work on-site in Dallas to support the maintenance and development of our infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Manage site utilities, property maintenance, and construction projects from design through procurement and completion.
- Develop cost estimates and track project budgets.
- Design new and renovated facilities, including structural foundations, drainage systems, and architectural elements.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to identify new industry methods.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure project alignment.
- Incorporate lessons learned into engineering standards.
- Monitor construction sites to ensure work remains safe, high quality, and on schedule.
- Work on specific projects such as cleanroom infrastructure, roofing, waterproofing, and structural foundations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for civil engineering, structural engineering, or architecture.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience working in teams and collaborating across different functions.
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ability to build professional relationships and take initiative.
