About the role#
This internship helps you grow into a technical expert by working with customer engineers and internal teams. You will learn how product characteristics relate to system-level requirements while gaining experience in product selection, implementation, and debug. This role prepares you for a career as a Field Applications Engineer.
What you'll do#
- Identify potential projects by using sales tools and building relationships with design engineering.
- Provide customers with proposals for system-level solutions.
- Use your technical knowledge to influence part selection and position our products against competition.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- A basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
- Knowledge of analog circuitry, such as op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, and sensing.
- Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, plus soldering and debugging skills.
- Programming skills in C/C++ or LabView.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Novi, Michigan.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
