About the role#
This Nurse Extern II role provides clinical experience for nursing students and recent graduates. You will work within the Emergency Room to support the nursing staff and assist with patient care in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist Registered Nurses with daily patient care activities.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Observe patients and report significant changes or findings to a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for med-surg patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited RN program within the past 6 months.
- Active progress toward obtaining your RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
