    About the role#

    The Multimedia Development Intern will focus on research and development for video technologies and applications. This role involves working within a team to create innovative products and services while improving the quality of multimedia content.

    What you'll do#

    • Research and develop new video technologies and applications.
    • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to build innovative products and services.
    • Explore and implement image and video compression techniques.
    • Work to improve the overall quality of multimedia content.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Experience or coursework in image or video compression and image processing.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
    • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with team members.
    • A creative approach to problem-solving.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Palo Alto, California.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $28.27 to $60.00 per hour.
    • Benefits: Eligible for paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and enrollment in the company-sponsored medical plan for full-time interns.
