About the role#
Tencent Cloud is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team in Palo Alto. This is a full-time, 12-month program designed for students who want to build a career in the Public Cloud industry. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals to learn our products, understand our target markets, and master core sales techniques.
What you'll do#
- Research markets and gather customer insights in specific industries.
- Find and reach out to new customers using various channels.
- Collect information on customer IT systems and cloud usage to help the sales team identify new opportunities.
- Manage the customer database and keep the sales pipeline organized.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support outbound campaigns.
- Create sales pitches and help the team qualify prospects.
What you'll need#
- You are a final-year undergraduate or a graduate student.
- You have a clear goal to pursue a sales career in the Public Cloud sector.
- You can commit to a 12-month full-time schedule.
- You are adaptable, bright, and entrepreneurial.
