About the role#
We are looking for an IT Operations Intern to join our team in Bellevue. This role supports our IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Support teams. You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise IT operations, project execution, and service management. This position involves working in a professional office environment to improve IT service quality and operational visibility.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day IT operations, including issue follow-up, service tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate IT projects and operational initiatives by tracking tasks, taking meeting notes, and monitoring progress.
- Work with IT engineers to support project delivery and ensure actions are closed on time.
- Collect, organize, and analyze IT operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and management summaries to track project progress.
- Assist in planning team activities, workshops, and operational reviews.
- Maintain internal knowledge bases and process documentation.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and workplace technology.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfort working with data using tools like Excel.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Curiosity and a willingness to handle complex or ambiguous tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Bellevue, Washington.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $28.27 to $60.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Eligible for paid sick leave (1 hour per 30 hours worked), up to 13 paid holidays, and enrollment in the company-sponsored medical plan for full-time interns.
- Duration: 6 to 12 months.
