About the role#
As a digital editor intern, you will create content for social channels including Instagram, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Telegram, and TikTok. You will focus on promoting news related to legal, tax, and government topics. This position requires using tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and Premiere to produce copy, graphics, and video.
What you'll do#
- Produce content on deadline as a member of the team.
- Develop social media posts for your professional portfolio.
- Learn to maintain accuracy and urgency in a newsroom setting.
- Receive feedback and coaching from a dedicated mentor.
- Engage with senior leaders and expert professionals.
- Participate in company charitable activities.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least three years of an undergraduate program, recent graduation, or enrollment in a graduate journalism program.
- Prior training or experience in audience engagement and social video.
- Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
- A drive to produce quality journalism.
- Willingness to collaborate with reporters and editors.
- Examples of social media posts you have created, which will be requested during the screening process.
