About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the core functions of U.S. Finance at TD. You will work alongside experienced professionals to understand how financial insights, risk management, and reporting support the bank. This is a 10-week program designed to strengthen your skills and knowledge for a future career in finance.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute projects to support business goals and objectives.
- Support strategic decision-making through performance management, forecasting, and business case analysis.
- Contribute to balance sheet management, capital and liquidity oversight, financial reporting, and controls.
- Participate in a 6-week Innovation Challenge and various learning and development opportunities.
- Engage in networking sessions and interact with senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Location & details#
- Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (expected to work in the office four days per week).
- Status: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid position.
- Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
