About the role#
This is a ten-week summer internship within our Enterprise Risk Management team. You will gain first-hand business experience and on-the-job training while working on projects linked to our strategic priorities. You will be placed in one of three areas: Risk Governance and Reporting, Financial Risk Oversight, or Operational Risk Oversight.
What you'll do#
- Engage in projects guided by training in market dynamics and industry fundamentals.
- Participate in workshops and networking events to support your professional development.
- Sharpen your technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Network with risk and actuarial professionals.
- Complete an assigned project and present your findings to the team at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Insurance, or Economics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better is preferred.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- You are an innovative, collaborative problem solver who can exercise independent judgment.
- You have strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- You can partner with other functional areas such as Finance, IT, Actuarial, and Operations.
- You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, including formulas and functions.
- You communicate well and are a proactive learner.
- General coding experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $25 per hour.
- Employment Status: Full-time.
